ACLIMA association has constituted in April of 1995 with the put in common of a group of a companies, motivated by the strategic action of the Basque Government. ACLIMA is inside a framework for action of the Basque Government, the competitivity plan, that fetches locate the Basque industry in the first place of what could be a market of new chances in the creation of the European Single Market.

OUR STRATEGIC AIMS ARE
• Promote the analysis and development of new business opportunities.
• Promote the presence of Cluster’s companies in outer markets.
• Collaborate with institutional organizations in the definition of the strategies, politics and legislation for sustainability.
• Increase of R&D in sustainable development.
• Promote the development of the environmental management strategies in companies.

MEMBERS

ACLIMA is characterized by the geographical concentration, favouring the creation of competitive context, Integrated in ACLIMA, where we find environmental services bidders and another industry agents; as well as public institutions, technological investigation centres and universities and finally, big companies which belong to public and private customer sector. Nowadays it has 91 partners, 76 private companies and 15 honour partners that cover the totality of environmental supply, stressing the contribution in other activities as R&D.
